  1. What is the Risk Management Council?

The Risk Management Council is a network of peers that collaborate to discuss all aspects of risk as it applies to credit unions.  This includes internal and external security, IT security and more.  The goal of the Risk Management Council is to help reduce risk exposure to credit unions through information sharing.

  1. Who can join?

Membership is open to individuals that are responsible for internal and external security at the credit union including managers, security officers, IT specialists and anyone else who plays a part in managing the risk of the credit unions.  Membership is not limited to one employee per credit union.

  1. How often does the Risk Management Council meet?
The Risk Management Council meets three times per year for face-to-face meetings however there are daily networking opportunities through the online list serve.
